HNC: “I Dream I Dead”
While the International Tapes crew was taking an equally well deserved and involuntary hiatus, we found ourselves being bombarded by vids, songs, and vids/songs that we would have readily posted the next day, if it were possible. One such dual threat came from Tokyo’s HNC AKA Yuppa, who is also a member of the Twee Grrrls Club, “Tokyo’s only and number one indie girls DJ club.” Falling somewhere in between morbid and fanciful; bouncing between sampletastic chop pop and a “sunny chilled out summer” vibe that almost justifies waiting 7ish months to write about this – almost. Let the watery, tungsten hued, and thoroughly kaleidoscopic vid take you where it will, and stay tuned for more from HNC.
